To bring together persons with a common interest to encourage the use, maintenance and preservation of motor vehicles of classic and historic classification without prejudice to make, model, method of manufacture or country of origin. As well as vehicles of special interest, this may, from time to time, be determined by the committee.

UPCOMING 2010 CLUB EVENTS

6th Sept 2010

Aged Care Facility 10.30am  If you aren't working and can make it, please give Kim or Peter a call. The folks at Burpengary Gardens would really appreciate it.
 

12th September2010 
 Aussie Brakes Trophy  Run organised by Peter and Gladys Rohan. This is a BYO to Gatton and the new Cultural Centre/Qld Transport Museum. The run is approximately 160klms. 

OR

Mega Car Show - Caboolture Historical Village ( short run option). 9am to 3pm. Participating vehicle plus 2 persons FREE of CHARGE. Further details contact Kim or Peter.


 3rd October 2010

GY Rally, sponsored by Vera and Peter Friar. BYO Will be organised by Kim and Carol. Destination Colmslie Beach Reserve. Morning tea stop will be at Decker Park on the foreshore at Brighton. More details phone Kim 54954683.

AGM BREAKFAST MEETING - Sunday 31st October 2010
VENUE - Woodford Pub, Woodford
Easy to find, we will meet at the Sundowner, at 7.15am for a 7.40am (SHARP) departure to Woodford.
TIME -  8.30am seated for a buffet breakfast.
COST  to members - $5.00 per head  (adults and children)
Members will need to put their names (& numbers) on the list, available at the meeting prior to the day.                                                                                                                         To be kept on the list payment needs to be made prior to the AGM.

MEMBERSHIP RENEWALS are due as at the 31st of August

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE HAVE FRESH BLOOD ON OUR COMMITTEE.         PLEASE DON'T LET CHACC BECOME LIKE MANY OTHER SMALL CLUBS       WHERE THE SAME PEOPLE ARE RE-CYCLED OVER AND OVER AGAIN.                 BE BRAVE, STEP UP AND TAKE ON A ROLE.

The Editors job is open, I shall not be renominating due to other commitments.
